Pre-Feast Checklist
1. PLEASE READ OUR FEAST NEWS PAGE —it contains important information you need to know before you leave for the Feast in France: https://www.ucg.org/group/2000025/feast-news
2. BRING HEADPHONES: We have translation equipment for you to listen to the translated services when they are in French. All you need to bring is your own set of earphones with a standard headphone jack (3.5 mm, like you would use to plug headphones into a laptop or older smartphone; no Bluetooth).
3. BRING AN ENGLISH HYMNAL: Here is a link to all of the English hymnal download options: https://www.ucg.org/members/hymnal
Hymnal web app:: http://streaming.ucg.org/files/ucg-hymnal-app/index.html
4. BRING ADAPTERS AND CONVERTERS FOR ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES: The electrical current in France is 220-240 volts. Generally, computer adapters are fine, but blow dryers and other high-power electrical appliances will be damaged if they are not designed to be used with both 220V and 110V (dual voltage). Here is one option of an adapter that should work for most dual voltage electronic devices, but please take the time to do a little research about the specific devices you will be using and whether your adapter/converter suits your needs: https://www.amazon.com/Ckitze-Europe-Travel-Power-Adapter/dp/B001EB26MO
5. BRING BEACH/POOL TOWELS: The resort provides bath towels, but not extras for pool or beach use. Consider bringing an extra towel or two for the beach and pool. There is a self-service laundry facility where you can wash them (credit card operated and soap provided) before you return home if desired.
6. MOSQUITO REPELLENT: Due to the proximity of the water, it’s possible there could be mosquitos. If they tend to bother you, consider packing some non-aerosol insect repellent.
7. PRINTING: Printing will be difficult onsite. If you need anything printed, please make every effort to print your materials before the Feast.
8. SERVICES ON THE OPENING NIGHT WILL BE AT 8:30 PM: We know everyone will be tired that evening, so it will be a shorter service. We will be showing a special welcome video message from President John Elliott. We encourage you to attend this opening service of the 2025 Feast of Tabernacles.
9. INTERNET ACCESS IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMS. WIFI is ONLY available in the main building where the restaurant is, and in the auditorium where Church services are held.
10. CELL PHONE SERVICE: If your cell provider offers it, you may consider adding an international data plan* for the duration of your travels. Another option is to purchase a mobile hotspot and international data plan. In previous years, several Feast-goers have found Solis useful: https://soliswifi.co/?rfsn=2318081.4a2bce.
* Note: one person purchased an international plan which included France but not the principality of Monaco, which led to some international roaming charges. If you are planning to travel to Monaco and/other areas, you may want to confirm they are included in your international plan.
11. QUESTIONS: If you have any issues and need to contact us prior to arrival, please call:

Note: When calling from outside France, the 33 country code should be dialed but NOT the “0”. When in France, don’t include the +33, but add the “0”).
12. RESORT ADDRESS:
Village Club Miléade Les Issambres-La Gaillarde
La Gaillarde RD 559
83380 Roquebrune-sur-Argens
Telephone: 04 87 75 00 58 (33 4 87 75 00 58 when calling from outside of France)
13. CHECK-IN: Check-in is Monday, October 6 at 5:00 PM. If you arrive by car, you should be able to drive up to the main building and temporarily park on the side to access the reception area. For the duration of the Feast, there is a designated parking lot onsite and parking is free. If you arrive earlier than 5:00 PM, you might be able to check in early if your room is ready. If not, you will be able to secure your luggage in the main lobby and relax around the resort while you wait to check in.
14. WEATHER: The weather forecast for the week is not available yet, but average daytime highs in mid-October are in the upper 60s F (20° Celsius) with lows in the mid 50s F (14° Celsius). The Mediterranean Sea temperature is about 64° F (17-18° Celsius) in October. You should also plan for some possible showers in October. We would appreciate prayers for good weather for all of the festival sites around the world.
15. OFFERING : In recent years, Europe has dramatically tighten the rules around receiving money in other currencies. The French Central Bank no longer accepts non-euro deposits, and small non-profit legal entities like our Church Association in France are under strict rules for depositing cash even in euros. For this reason, we have outlined below the ways that would work best for us to be able to process your offering.
For our American visitors: Our preference is for you to write a check in dollars against a US Bank. We ask that you write the check to "UCG San Francisco Bay Area". We will deposit the funds in the US immediately after the Feast and then send a wire to the French Association (the legal entity for UCG in France). Donations made by check in this way are eligible to receive a US receipt that may be used for US tax purposes.
For our European visitors: Offerings may be given in Euros, either by check, wire, through our on-line donation page or in cash.
For all other visitors, please give your offering in Euros, in cash, as European banks will not take checks from outside the European Union. You may also make a donation via wire or the donation page.
We are praying for the protection of all those throughout the world who will be traveling to keep God’s Feast, wherever that may be. We look forward to seeing all of you in about two weeks.
